One Torah shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

B ‘reshit
(in a beginning)

B’reshit [Genesis] 1:1-6:8

Today’s teaching is focused upon B’reshit 1:28.

B’reshit (Genesis) 1:28
And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim says to them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over every living thing that is creeping upon the earth.”

This commandment was given to Adam before he fell into sin and away from YHWH. What YHWH was expecting Adam to do was to fill the earth with his own kind: sinless mankind. However, because of Adam’s rebellious act of sin against YHWH, this did not happen. What happened instead, was that the earth became filled and subdued with sinful rebellious mankind, people who, generally speaking, have no desire whatsoever to submit to the rightful authority of YHWH our Elohim.

What we need to truly understand is that all species propagate after their own kinds. This is true, whether plant or animal, all bring forth after its own kind. Let us examine some passages of Scripture to see the truth of this.

B’reshit [Genesis] 1:21
21 And Elohim created the great sea-monsters, and every living creature that moves, wherewith the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and Elohim saw that it was good.
22 And Elohim blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”

On the fifth day Elohim created (bara) the great sea monsters (dragons) and made (asah) all the other creatures of the sea and of the air. Each species of creature was to reproduce according to its own kind.

An eagle was not to lay an egg and produce a chicken. An eagle was to produce more eagles and nothing but eagles. This is true of each and every species of fish and birds.

B’reshit [Genesis] 1:24
24 And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beasts of the earth after their kind;” and it was so.
25 And Elohim made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground after its kind; and Elohim saw that it was good.

On the sixth day YHWH made all the animals of the dry land. This includes the cattle, reptiles,
amphibians, and everything that lives upon the dry ground. It is interesting to note that YHWH made the cattle. Man did not domesticate these animals; YHWH made them that way!

Each species of dry land animal was also to reproduce according to its own kind. There is to be no cross breeding of species. It is against the commandment of YHWH to force or cause this to happen. Each species is to remain pure and produce only that which Elohim created it to produce. Each species is to produce nothing more and nothing less.

However, because of Adam’s rebellion against the word of YHWH, his seed became corrupt. Now instead of producing a kind that was in submission to the word of YHWH, he only produced a kind that was in full rebellion against the word of YHWH. So a remedy was needed.

B’reshit (Genesis) 3:21
And YHWH Elohim made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins, and clothed them.

In order for YHWH to make these coats of skins, He first had to take the life of an animal. It is from the sacrifice of this animal that YHWH began to teach His children the high price of rebellion against the word of YHWH; something would die. This is where Yeshua enters the picture four days later (four thousand years). He gave His life to pay the price for the acts of rebellion and for the rebellious heart that is in each one of us. Once we accept that sacrifice and clothe ourselves in what He offers: His righteousness, which are garments of His light, then we need to reproduce after our own kind.

Matithyah (Matthew) 28:18-20
18 and Yeshua came up and spoke to them saying, “All authority in the heavens and in the earth has been given to me, and as My father sent me, so I send you.
19 Therefore go into all the nations for talmidim, immersing them in name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach HaQodesh;
20 teaching them to guard all what has been commanded you; behold, I am with you all the days, even to the end of the age.”

Yeshua our Mashiach has been given all authority over all of creation. He has thus commanded us to go forth and bring forth kind like Him. But in order to obey this commandment, we must first be like Him in all manner of ways.

Ma’aseh (Acts) 1:4-5
4 and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said He, “you heard from Me;
5 for Yochanan (John) indeed immersed with water; but you shall be immersed in the Ruach Qodesh (Holy Spirit) not many days from now.”

In order to be made into the image of Yeshua our Mashiach, then we need to confess our sins and rebellion and put that away from us. Once we have done that, then we need to seek the infilling of His Spirit so that we can also walk in the fruit of that same Spirit. Without being filled with His Spirit, which happens subsequent to being saved, one cannot walk in the fullness of His Spirit.

It is very important in these days for each one of us to recognize where we are in our walk with Him. His Spirit is moving in a mighty way and if we do not want to be left behind, then we need to get filled with His Spirit and get in tune with what He is doing in our day. There are some of you that are reading this that are thinking that what YHWH is directing you to do is craziness. However, you need to test that Spirit and once you have determined that it is His Spirit directing you to do something, then you need to walk in full obedience to what He is directing you to do.

Furthermore, as He brings about those things that have been prophesied long ago by the prophets of old, realize that each one of them were simply men who made themselves available to YHWH Tzava’ot to do His will regardless of the personal cost.

We are to go forth to find the talmidim of Yeshua our Mashiach and to teach them how to walk in the fullness of what that means: walking in the fullness of the Shema to know that YHWH is our Elohim; that YHWH is One and first in our lives, and to love Him with all the resources that we have available to us.

This includes our strength, our hearts, our lives, and all the physical things He has placed in our
stewardship: homes, cars, ships, planes, finances, whatever we have. They must all be available to Him.

He does not expect us to just give these things away in most cases, as then one’s stewardship of that would come to an end. However, when we have something that He has given to us and we continue to use it to further His kingdom again and again, then this is the essence of righteous stewardship.

Brothers and sisters in Mashiach, we live in a time which can be uncertain and perilous, but this is only true if one has not placed his complete trust and faith in Yeshua our Mashiach and clung to the word of YHWH in his everyday living. YHWH will surely bring to pass that which He has promised. He commanded Adam to go forth and replenish the earth with his own kind. His own kind at the time that this command was given was one who was in full compliance with the word of YHWH. It is time that we get busy about our Father’s business and replenish the earth with His own kind, according to the Spirit of Mashiach, which is the Spirit of prophecy.

Gilyana (Revelation) 19:10
And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, “See that you do not do that; I am a fellow-servant with you and with your brethren that hold the testimony of Yeshua; worship Elohim; for the testimony of Yeshua is the spirit of prophecy.”

My prayer for each one of us in these days is that we would seek YHWH with our whole heart, soul and strength, that we might be made into the image of His Son, Yeshua our Mashiach, that we might come to understand what He is doing in our world; and that we would not fear the instability of our world, but that we would simply trust YHWH, because He is still on the throne of glory and He is completely sovereign over His creation. There is nothing happening that He is not aware of, and in fact, either directly causing or allowing to happen for the express purpose of bringing about His will in this world, namely, to replenish the earth with His people!

ABBA YHWH, fill us with Your Spirit that we might see with Your eyes and hear with Your ears, and give us Your strength that we might build Your kingdom, rather than our own; in the name of Yeshua our Mashiach we pray. Amein.
