One Torah For All

One Torah shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Exodus 12:49

Hijacked Faith
Reclaiming one’s true focus

Ivrim (Hebrews) 11:10
By faith he looked for the city which has the foundations, whose builder and maker is Elohim.

Avraham left Babylon and followed YHWH. Scripture teaches that he was looking for the city which was made by Elohim. There are several things we should note about this. First, Avraham left Babylon. Also, the city he was looking for was not made by man, thus, the city he was looking for was not administered by man. Lastly, this was done by faith, which means in part, that his faith was focused on the maker of that city, not on men or the cities which they make.

Gilyana (Revelation) 18:4
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her my people, that you do not participate in her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.”

Those who do not come out of Babylon will also receive of the plagues which YHWH shall at some point in time pour out upon her. Those who do not come out are those who stay in her and participate in her sins. Avraham did not participate in her sins because he came out of her. Do you hear His Voice to come out of her?

Please prayerfully consider the following passage.

Sh’muel Aleph (1st Samuel) 8:6-7
6 But the thing displeased Sh’muel, when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” And Samuel prayed unto YHWH.
7 And YHWH said unto Sh’muel, “Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not be king over them.”

The people had an election and YHWH lost that election. He was not elected as king. Rather, they elected to have a man rule over them. This was not an election in which they cast an actual ballot, but one in which they made their voices heard. This is what an election is, the voice of the people.

Once again the USA is coming up to an election. There are many people who are upset about many things. Why? I submit to you that those who are upset have had their faith hijacked, those on the right as well as the left of the political spectrum. Their faith is in the system, the system is broken and this causes them to be upset. However, what such people do not seem to understand is that the system is Babylon in nature; thus, it is broken and cannot be fixed. It is that way by nature and by design.

When a person goes to the polls to cast a vote, several things happen. Often times, such people are voting for their perception of the lesser of two evils. And believe it or not, both sides often feel this way, that they are voting for the lesser of two evils. Excuse me?! Why would anyone who claims to be a follower of Mashiach Yeshua vote for evil? Is this not participating in Babylon? To be sure! Is this not participating in the sins of Babylon? To be sure!

Please consider the fact that YHWH is not on the ballot, thus, voting for one who is on the ballot is casting a vote against YHWH. It is participating in the process to select a human to rule over you. However, I submit to you that the whole process is an illusion, anyway. Why? Consider this.

Daniel 4:32
“and you shall be driven from men; and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field; you shall be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever He will.”

Oh foolish man, how long will you attempt to thwart the will of the Almighty? Do you not know that He shall accomplish His will? Do you not know that man cannot stop His will? It is whoever He desires to be at the head of a country, it is that person who shall be there and no man-made election will change His will! Furthermore, if one chooses to vote and he casts a vote for a person who is not been chosen by YHWH to rule at that time, is he not voting against His will? Is he not fighting against the Almighty? To be sure!

One may well say, but what about this: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke)

This is often used as an excuse to be involved in the political process. However, just because one is not involved in the political process does not mean that one is doing nothing. One can still feed the poor, clothe the hungry, and other such things which he knows to be a part of the life of a follower of Mashiach Yeshua.

Furthermore, the idea in the quote from Burke is unscriptural. How so, you may wonder? Where is faith in this idea? This idea completely and totally discounts that YHWH is sovereign and reigns over the affairs of men. It makes any good at all completely dependent upon man. That is the Babylonian system; it is not a society whose people follow after their Creator. It is not seeking a city whose maker is the Almighty. It is attempting to fix something which cannot be fixed.

Matithyah (Matthew) 10:23
“But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next; for verily I say unto you, you shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man has come.”

Mashiach Yeshua did not teach his followers to fix the problems in a city. He taught them to leave, to come out of Babylon.

It seems these days the faith of so many people have been hijacked. Hijacked from keeping one’s eyes upon Yeshua and following Him and doing His will. They do not really know what Yeshua taught. They do not understand that certain things must come to pass. They do not understand that the Creator of all things is Sovereign and reigns over the affairs of mankind. As a result, they have no shalom. Their minds and hearts are all abuzz with the latest political mumbo-jumbo. Their foundation upon the Solid Rock has been eroded. They are adrift.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 12:2a
Focusing on Yeshua the Author and Perfecter of our faith,

Brothers and sisters in Mashiach Yeshua, it is time to take your eyes off of the leaders of man and look to the Author and Finisher of your faith, Yeshua. He knows what He is doing, trust Him. Put your faith in Him and in Him alone! Come out of Babylon, stop participating in her sins (like electing the lesser of two evils). Do the works of Mashiach, who did the works of His Father in heaven. Then, in this way your shalom may be restored by Him.

Yehoshua (Joshua) 24:15
“And if it seems evil unto you to serve YHWH, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve YHWH.”
