One Torah For All

One Torah shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Exodus 12:49

Prayer for Protection

Our dear, Heavenly Father, we would ask that you would put a division between us and those who have planned this evil against us, as You did of old. Your word says, "But on that day, I will set apart the land of Goshen, where My people are living, so that no swarms of insects will be there, in order that you may know that I, YHWH, am in the midst of the land. And I will put a division between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall occur." Then YHWH did so ( Exodus 8:22-24). YHWH we ask that as You did before, that You would do again, and set aside where we live and not allow these plagues to come upon us or our families. YHWH, Your word also says that, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the bond-servants of our Elohim on their foreheads." ( Revelation 7:3). We humbly ask that You would do this just now. We choose to accept this seal upon us by faith. We thank You, YHWH, for Your faithfulness to us.

YHWH, we know that Your word teaches us that You care about our entire being. It says that, “Now may the Elohim of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Master Yeshua Messiah. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” ( 1st Thessalonians 5:23-24). We ask that You would indeed preserve our spirit, our soul, and our body completely, so that we can be good and effective stewards and witnesses of Your grace and faithfulness to us. Even when Yeshua was here in His earthly ministry He prayed to the Father, “I do not ask Thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.” John 17:15. The evil one is using unrighteous men to try to destroy Your people and those who would witness for Your blessed Kingdom, and we ask that this would not be so, but rather You would “keep us from the evil” he has designed against us, that we might continue to build Your kingdom.

YHWH, as You commissioned those who believe in You, You taught that there would also be signs that accompanied them as they went out and witnessed for You. “And these signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it shall not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18. YHWH, we are being forced to take a deadly poison into our bodies without our consent or even knowledge. We ask believing that You would not allow this to harm us in any way for Your Name’s sake and for the sake of Your Kingdom and Your Kingdom’s work.

YHWH, we have prayed these things according to Your word and believe Your word to also be your will. And Your word also teaches that when we pray according to Your will, we can have confidence. And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1st John 5:14-15.

Furthermore, Your word teaches us that, “whatever is born of Elohim overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world-- our faith. And who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Yeshua is the Son of Elohim?” 1st John 5:4-5. We choose to be overcomers by believing in Your only Son Yeshua Messiah as the Son of Elohim. It is in Him, and in Him alone, that we place our faith and trust. For we know that Your word is true and faithful and righteous, as You are, Heavenly Father.

And as Your word further teaches, that Yeshua, Who is in us, is greater than the devil, who is in the world. “You are from Elohim, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” 1st John 4:4. Thank You, Heavenly Father, for hearing and answering our prayer. We pray these things in faith believing, not in the prayer, but rather in Yeshua the Giver of life and all things, so we are asking them in the strong and powerful and blessed Name of Yeshua.
